Twisted The Musical
Twisted takes up the story of Oliver Twist 15 years on from when the Dickens story ended.
Oliver Twist is now in his late 20s and when he first meets and falls in love with Jane their happiness seems assured. However, all is not as it first seems and dark days lie ahead.
Characters from Oliver and Jane's past come back into their lives, but who can they trust? Who is out for revenge? Will Oliver's love for Jane stand the test of time?
Theatre At The Mill
Twisted was performed at Theatre at the Mill in Newtownabbey in Northern Island to rapturous applause. After numerous post- show reviews from audience and press alike, we have been working on taking this show, through many obstacles, to other audiences across Ireland, and the UK.
For Esler Burke, his ambitions of taking this play to the West End is something well within his grasp and now something for all of us to be able to share, looms on the horizon.
Esler has found an experienced Creative Director in Si Wall, fresh from successes at Edinburgh Fringe as well as feature films, he has began shaping ‘Twisted’ immediately into something dark, broody and meaningful. Together Esler and Si will continue to build and create a world we all know and love, but in their own unique style.
